NEWLY HIRED EXECUTIVES

Effective executives transitioning to a position in a new organization set out to understand and become involved in the existing company's culture, learn the “ways things are done here," and manage their own attitudes and actions. When new leaders hired from the 'outside' are provide coaching from the outset, they are more capable of successfully navigating the new organization's environment.

Newly promoted internal executives while familiar with the culture, often encounter difficulties directing and managing former peers, may be too stuck in familiar practices, or need to build their leadership competencies. Executive coaching provides an effective vehicle to expand the promoted executive's abilities.
